International Human Resource Management

Regarding course material, is there much based on statistics or research methods and if so what does this involve? I currently study HRM at a University but it is very theoretical and math-ful I think I want to change as I believe a more practical University of Applied Sciences course would suit me?

Hi John,

From my perspective, the first two years of this study is rather theory-based, however, it doesn't mean just reading and having exams. There are many skill classes requiring you to improve your interview skills, speaking in public skills, group dynamic skills etc... Also, the last quarter of the second year is called 'Practical Quarter', which means dealing with cases in real companies. This will go on to the end of the first semester of the third year, as you have to work with different companies and their assignments. And, of course, you also have to go on an internship period of 6 months at the beginning of the final year.

Overall, I'd say it is a rather well-organized study that can help you greatly when you graduate and start working in a company. I hope this answer helps you somewhat. :)

Is your question still unanswered?
