Hey, what type/brand of laptop would you recommend for this study? I know the requirements, but if you could give some advice, that'd help a lot.

Personally I’m a big fan of Asus, Lenovo, Dell or MSI. It depends on what your budget is ofcourse. Most laptops I see here are MSI’s.
