A bit of both. Saxion's CMGT program is aimed to give you the tools to enter both the AAA industry and the serious games industry. We teach the fundamentals of game development so that you can specialise and further develop yourself in the industry in your own way during the third and fourth year. It is entirely possible to end up at AAA companies like Ubisoft, Guerrilla, etc. and also be able to work for more serious game tech applications like for medical, educational, or military institutions. It's entirely up to how you choose to specialise yourself at the end of the study, and how you build up your network.
