Ive just been officially invited for the CMGT program here so in order to be prepared for the following year I was hoping to find technical requirements for the laptop ill need (as an artist) and which softwares we ll use. Sadly, I didnt. Some help and information will be in great use:)

The minimal requirements for a windows laptop are:

At least an i5 processor, at least 8 GB of RAM (16 GB Ram is really recommended), a SSD Harddisk with a storage of at least 256 GB(but buy an external HDD because you're going to need it) and a dedicated graphics card of minimal 2GB(more absolutely recommended).

If you're "apple-minded", Apple notebooks are also possible. All new Apple macbooks pro are okay, if they have at least 8 GB of RAM and an SSD harddrive of at least 256 GB. Also is recommended to buy an external harddrive for extra storage. If you're going to do some heavy graphics or 3D work, buy the Macbook Pro "15 or "16 with dedicated Graphics card.
