Hi Zhivodar!
CMGT is a game focussed study, but nonetheless it prepares the students for the creative industry in general.
There are courses which will help you finding the department of the creative industry that suits you best, for example 3D animation, modeling, visual effects or research. Those courses are all not only applicable for games but also for the film industry.
Although you will touch these subjects for a shorter period of time, you will have the chance later, with your minor (during a minor you will focus one semester on something either study related or even something completely different, the decision is up to you) or your semester internship, to gather more in depth experience in the creative department you like the most.
I am currently participating a minor that is VFX related, so there are definitely possibilities and resources to educate and prepare yourself more specifically for the film industry.
Regarding the preparation, there is not much to do. It is recommended to own a laptop which holds at least 16 GB RAM and has a decent Graphics Card. (nvidia Geforce gtx 1080, preferably newer ones)
I started the study as a complete newb, so don't worry. With CMGT you will learn everything you need to know to get a good start into the creative business.
