Hi my son Cannot pass 3 subjects from the 2nd Year. he feels to give up, and doesnt want to ask for help. Hé supose to be this Year in the 3rd but cannot do minor neither internship until hé passes that subjects. What can happen if hé continue and does not pass them?

As a lot of students are going through similar situations as your son, some have decided to repeat the year they are currently in. If your son decides to do this he would need to speak with his study coach and communicate the issues he is having and also discuss the different options that he could take with his coach.

Concerning the internship, once he has passed all the subjects from 1st year and received his Propaedeutic Certificate, he will be able to do his internship. For the courses he did not pass in the 2nd Year, he will have to re-do them in the 3rd year. He can also decide to complete his minor first and during that time also focus on his re-do subjects.

There are also student support groups within Saxion, that maybe he able to help with his motivation.

My best advice would be to get in touch with the son's study coach and communicate the issues he is having and from there further discussions and decisions can be made in his best interest.
