Internships start in the first year. There is a short 3-week placement at the start of the 3 quarter.
If you want to do your internship in the Netherlands you need to speak some Dutch. Saxion has a network of physiotherapists that it sends the Dutch students to, and these are available for the International students at a push. The working language of the clinics and the patients is Dutch, so you can see how this can be problematic.
