Hi Nick,

In terms of programming languages you'll use C++ and C for the most part (but also C#, Python, SQLite and more). In terms of software you'll use Multisim + Ultiboard or Altium to design circuits, Quartus for FPGA programming and Matlab for solving math problems. That's only the case for the first year, though. In the second year, you're free too use languages and simulation software you like (for most subjects) and after that it really depends on what you want to do (so you'll probably be using things you're comfortable with).
